Ingrid Becton, PCC

Ingrid Becton, PCC is an experienced coach who offers specialized guidance for every phase of an individual’s professional journey.

Her practice accounts for the unique challenges and opportunities that are present in today’s evolving workplace. Whether it’s transitioning back to work, navigating a career shift, pursuing an entrepreneurial vision, or managing work-life balance, Ingrid personalizes her approach to each client’s needs, goals, and aspirations.

Ingrid earned coaching certifications through both the Co-Active Training Institute (CPCC) and the International Coach Federation (PCC). She earned her BA degree in International Affairs and Latin American Studies from George Washington University and spent the early part of her career as a recruiter until she decided to stay home and raise her three children.

Ingrid re-entered the workforce as a volunteer in the career center at Elmhurst University. She was subsequently hired by the University to work with students interested in career exploration and professional preparation. In this role, she met with undergraduates, alumni, and graduate students to coach and advise them in career choices and strategies for their career search. Ingrid also taught classes for over a decade on resume development, networking, interviewing, and self-branding while at Elmhurst University.

Ingrid is currently in private practice as a professional career and career transition coach. She facilitates workshops for organizations and businesses and leads thought-provoking and innovative focus groups for emerging leaders. Ingrid is certified to administer the Hogan Series (HPI, HDS, and MVPI).

Ingrid is active in many volunteer capacities including as a coach with the Honor Foundation and the People’s Resource Center and she also serves as a member of the board of the award-winning Elmhurst Public Library.
