Timothy Ricordati, Ed.D.

Dr. Timothy H. Ricordati, a resident of Elmhurst, IL, has over 30 years of experience in senior levels of education.  Timothy is He recently served as the Vice President for Admission at Elmhurst University, leading its admission operations and recruitment initiatives for all student populations, including traditional, adult, graduate, and international. Previous to this role, he was the Founding Dean of the University’s School of Professional Studies, functioning as the chief administrative and academic officer. Dr. Ricordati has also served as an Associate Professor of Business.

Prior to joining Elmhurst University, Dr. Ricordati worked for six years as the Vice President of New Schools Development for the America Quality Schools (AQS), a not-for-profit education management organization where he was responsible for the development of new K-12 charter schools within the Midwest.

Before joining AQS, Dr. Ricordati spent 17 years with DeVry University in a variety of senior leadership capacities, including Vice President of Enrollment Management. He also served as the Vice President and Dean of the Keller Graduate School of Management. Dr. Ricordati has extensive experience with online education, having been instrumental in the design, development, and successful implementation of DeVry University Online.

Dr. Ricordati earned both a B.S. and M.S.Ed. from Northern Illinois University and an Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University. He is an accomplished teacher, having taught business, organizational culture, and leadership at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels.  He has authored numerous articles and presentations on the implementation of mastery learning to increase student achievement.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ricordati has given extensive time to a variety of volunteer boards. This includes serving as a Commissioner on the City of Elmhurst Economic Development Commission and as a Board Director in the Proviso-Leyden Council for Community Action (Maywood, Illinois) and the Community Memorial Foundation (Hinsdale, Illinois). He has also been a Trustee of the Westchester Public Library (Westchester, Illinois).

Dr. Ricordati is a member of the International Coaching Federation.
